Charley is a beautiful young female Golden Retriever full of energy and affection. She likes to be petted and to lay at our feet in the evenings. She gets under the table when we eat. She is house broken and crate trained. She is good with both people and other dogs and is always ready to play.

Charley likes to ride in my suburban and will jump into the vehicle on command. This very agile athletic dog romps in the shallow water at the beach with great enthusiasm. She is smart and quickly learned the routine at my house.

Charley is a work in progress. She needs a lot of exercise and supervision as she still has some puppy behaviors. She can not be left alone in the house as she occasionally chews on things, explorers in the trash cans or wrestles with the other dogs. She has made progress in these areas but still needs to be trained and to mature. When we are home Charley is free in the house. We close the doors to some rooms. When we leave the house she is either in a crate or a fenced yard. As with most young dogs, she occasionally digs holes in the yard. At night she sleeps in a crate in the living room. Charley is a sweet wonderful companion animal that needs a family to help her grow up.
