EDUCATION AND INSPIRATION

"All that you have to do is to look into the eyes of a Golden and you see the other half of yourself and for them to be abandoned is beyond belief."

This is also a section where we can remember the Goldens, who have left paw prints on our hearts and are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Help in the time of need.

And leave a piece for you to remember them by....

Education is a necessary part of any rescue organization agenda. We must try to educate the public on causes that affect animals and their treatment. This is the area where we will post articles to fulfill that mission.

Understanding Heartworms

We, who are involved in rescue do not do what we do out of logic but because a heartfelt love for animals. Specifically we do what we do out of a great love for Golden Retrievers. We will feature articles here that will pull at you heart as we try to examine this bond which exists between our Goldens and us.

How Could You?

Because so many of our rescued golden friends have heartworms, we have made available this reading material for those of you interested in some additional background. Click here for article on heartworms

Since many of our rescues are from shelters, we are not always sure of their housebreaking status other than throughcrate training in our foster homes, please click here for article on housebreaking an adult dog
