My Tribute to Bobby by Foster Mommy Kathy

This is the memorial I wrote for Bobby who I had to send to the Rainbow Bridge on July 10th. Jim said I could write a memorial to him. I just don’t know why I can’t get over him and stop crying when I think about him or write about him. I think it’s the sweet face and personality. People are so cruel not to take care of their pets!!!

Bobby was with me for only a short week but in that short time I saw a dog who possessed all the Golden qualities; affectionate, trying hard to please, sweet, gentle… In that short time we hope that we showed him what love is suppose to be like; living in a house, food daily, toys to play with and the special feeling of sleeping on a bed between two people who care about you.

As Barbara Woodhouse said: “The dog has an enviable mind; it remembers the nice things in life and quickly blots out the nasty.”

I pray that Bobby knew LOVE.
