Duncan went to his forever home in New Hampshire on Saturday July 23, 2005.

Update on August 27th: Duncan and his family went on his first vacation and hike and made it to the Peak of Burnt Mountain. Pictures above.

August 7th:

Duncan is doing very well. He is housebroken, yah! and a pleasure to have as part of the family. We have left him uncrated for the last few nights and he has done great, and of course chooses to sleep there anyway. He has learned a ton in the last two weeks and seems to know this is home. He is still very nervous when we take him away from the house, so we are doing short trips, with a fun focus. He loves his nightly walks, and attention from us and anyone willing to love him. He is still unpredictable with other dogs. We are trying to expose him alot and praise him for good behavior. We will see...

Hi Lee,

He is so sweet, and loved by all. He is very gentle and kind to everyone, including all of the neighborhood children who came to greet him last night. I did take him some time to settle in, once he came into the house as you might imagine after such a long trip. Seems he doesn't know his name, sounds like a good place to start. Any suggestions on good obedience classes?
