Peyton - loved and cherished 2001- Oct 16, 2009 Hi Lee, things took a turn for worse with Peyton. Today she coughed up lots of blood, the test results were inconclusive, might have been cancer in the right lung, possible tumor, the blood would poor up her throat, and she was continuing coughing out. She was suffering, the cough meds, and antibiotic weren't going to fix this. So sorry, i'm still in complete shock, she was such a huge part of my life as i'm here with her everyday. She got sick so fast, thank you so much for adopting her to us, she was one of a kind, sooo precious. Morgan and James enjoyed her so much, i'm hoping Morgan will get through this o.k. Thanks so much again Lee, we were fortunate to have her in our lives.
Peyton went to her forever home on April 7th, 2005 in Massachusetts. Peyton's mom is helping us bake for the event on Sept 11th. Here is an update from her. MAYBE THEY'VE RUN INTO CASES AROUND HERE NOW THAT THE MOSQUITOS HAVE GOTTEN WORSE THROUGHT THE YEARS. PEYTON'S DOING VERY WELL, SHE'S LOOKING MORE GORGEOUS, AND HEALTHY. EARLY AFTERNOON, HOPING TO SEE PEOPLE. CLARENCE OUR 14YR. OLD CAT STAYS DOWNSTAIRS NOW, HE LIKES PEYTON, HE'LL DRINK HER WATER, HE NEVER CAME DOWN WITH OUR MALE DOG. IT'S REALLY NICE. WELL, HOPE ALL'S WELL, TAKE CARE, TALK SOON. THANKS LEE FOR INCLUDING ME IN THIS EVENT, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU.
Peyton's new family is soooo happy with her. Here is an update. My family just left, my parents and brother were here visiting peyton, we gave her a bath in the tub, what a wonderful girl! she isn't nervous at all, even after everything.we all love her so much! yesterday was such an emotional day for me, to finally meet her.i cried and cried, like my brother he was just as anxious. when they drove into the shelter my worries were over everyone was fine. it was awesome! the drivers are so nice, they picked on me when i sayed i was there to pick up peyton, virginia said "peyton, i don't know", then they all laughed, they liked her too. i hope they make it home alright. such good people. my husband stayed home with morgan, but when he saw peyton, boy, he wouldn't leave her alone, he's so happy, he just smiles and keeps saying she's such a good girl, she barked at 3:00am and he got up to let her out, i think it's true love. morgan laughs at her and isn't scared at all of her, they've been sharing stuffed animals and balls and morgan dances for her. i thought their may be some jealousy, but, morgan's fine, she loves her and shares me very well. we've been outside, in the sun. it was a beautiful weekend here. we couldn't be more pleased. thanks for everything, we're a lucky family. she sees the vets tues. morning, just want to see how to keep up with her nutrition, after all the puppies i wonder if i should give her a vitamin or what they'll recommend. take care. Peyton is a good girl who is about 4 years old who was left at the pound when her owners didn't want her anymore so a nice lady from golden retriever rescue took her home. She is going to be spayed the week of March 21st and will be ready to go after that. She is affectionate, good with kids and such a pretty blonde girl. |
