Winnie died in the Fall 2008

Queenie was adopted from GSGRR in July of 2005 and passed away this fall. Here's a message from her adoptive Mom:

" Winnie was such a beautiful girl. I bonded with her from day one. I always felt she knew that she was wanted and meant to be with us. She was gentle and obedient and very good natured. I'm sorry we didn't have a much longer time with her and she with us. Jim picked her out for us and I'll always appreciate and marvel at his choice, as she was a perfect fit for our family. I would adopt again from this wonderful organization. "

update on august 25th:

Winnie is doing well. She is very sweet. She has gained 7 lbs according to her last Vet visit. She loves to play and we're always hearing her tail bang against something it is always wagging!! I'm trying to get the word out about Gulf South Goldens and have someone I work with interested - he will be checking the web site and liked Sherman when I brought it up for him. Can you give me any info about Sherman? I will send you some postcards I had made up if you send me your home address. Thanks, Maddy

She is settling in well and slept through her first night on cape cod. Everyone is happy.
