Aly

Aly went to her
forever home in CT on February 2, 2007. She joined a family
with a canine sibling, Wyatt, almost her twin.
Update in april
2007:
Updated pictures of Aly - who ended up staying
Allie. I cannot tell you HOW much she means to Wyatt - she is
his little shadow, and whatever one doesn't think of, the other
does! And, as you can see, they like to help Mom do kitchen
chores.
Update from her
new momma:
update on feb
10- I think we have a pretty awesome fit here. Thank you SO
much!!!!
Okay, this is going to EVERYONE cause I am sort
of having to play referee just to make sure the "kids"
play "nice" - only one fight so far. Aly is certainly
not shy about standing up to Wyatt. But, give them IDENTICAL
rawhides, and they both want the one the OTHER one has. LOLOL
Typical kids! And, just so you don't think Wyatt is bullying
her, the picture of them on the couch - WYATT is on the bottom!!
He is LOVING this, and she seems to be too! Right now he has
the rawhide and she is chasing him around the house - she runs
so much faster and longer than Mom does!
Aly is going to hopefully be called Josie - she doesn't have
a ton of name recognition, so I think we can transition her
over by using both names for a while and then phasing out Aly.
Mainly she should be called Mini-Me or Mini-Wy, cause she is
a little Wyatt, as you will see from the pictures. You can tell
them apart because she is about 40 pounds less - though with
a really fluffy coat, so that's not so obvious - and she has
a brush tail with very little feathering so far, and she has
a littler face - almost foxy. I finally put Wyatt's cowboys
bandana on him so I could tell them apart! Bet she's going to
end up around 55-65 pounds though - she still has that 10-12
month growth spurt to go through!
Oh, and we had 2-3 inches of snow, and she is not fazed one
bit by it - she's running around in it and playing it just fine.
Hello my name is Aly.
Aly is 9 months old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and
on heartworm preventative. She's good with kids, cats and other
dogs. She came to us after her family was unable to devote enough
time to her. She is very happy to sit by your side for all the
love you have to give her. As with any puppy, she will need
someone to take some time with her and work on her manners.
