Amy in Massachusetts

Amy went to her forever home in Massachusetts on May 12, 2007. She is joining a family with a golden sister too.

Update in November 2008:

thanks for the invitation - we are still in connecticut and will be until the end of september-amy is doing so well - she is quite the swimmer down here at the beach and remains one of the sweetest dogs in the world - everyone loves her and she is just fabulous with all the grandchildren - what a wonderful day it was when she arrived at logan airport - let us know what we can do to help even if only in a financial capacity - we feel very blessed - thanks jeanne dianeb

Found by a couple wandering as a stray near their home, this sweet and gentle 1 year old female Golden came to us without any knowledge of what caused her eye, at some point in time, to have to be surgically removed !

Amy may have lost an eye, but it has not slowed her down or inhibited her in any way at all ! Amy has a real zest for life without being hyper-active and she just loves to play with children, other dogs and gets along well with cats too ! She is heartworm negative and ready to go.

This precious little lady may just be the ideal addition to your family, that is ready to give you many years of companionship and unconditional love !

Amy's Foster Mom can give you additional information about this most wonderful Golden girl !
