Ashley in LA

Ashely went to her forever home in May 2007 and she will live in Metairie, LA.

Please allow me to introduce Ashley. Ashley was born in Georgia around October 2004 and promptly found herself in a Georgia shelter. Her first family adopted Ashley around Christmas time 2004 when she was just 8 weeks old. Life was good for Ashley until just recently when her family had to move back in with relatives and there was no room for Ashley except to be demoted to the back yard on a chain and a crate.

Ashley is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations as of April 2007, is a chunky 69 pounds and is on a diet. Ashley was raised with children ages 18 months, 6, 11 and 13 years. Ashley is housetrained, knows how to catch treats in the air, sits to have her leash attached for walks. Ashley is easy to bathe and brush. While she will chase a thrown ball, she will expect you to go fetch, if you want it back. Ashley was never given toys to play with so she will need help to find out just how much fun toys and playing fetch can be. Ashley loves the water, even if it is the garden fountain. When I first brought her in after picking her up she went directly to the fountain and took herself a dip. I just wish I had the camera then.
