Update from her new momma on 9/11/07:
Jim,
Here are some photos and an update on Avery
(Nala as my daughter has started calling her to go along with
our Simba as in the Lion King Movie)
She's a great fit for us the most loving companion
anyone can ask for. She enjoys rolling around on the floor with
our daughter, stealing pony tail scrunchies and running in the
yard. She likes climbing on the sofa or bed whenever someone
is there to pet her. She is apparently comfortable enough to
fall asleep in our lap whenever we are watching television.
We have fallen for this pretty girl within a week.
These are photos from the walk in the park on
Sunday. There is one where she and Simba are sitting up posing
for the camera. Another just lounging near the lake, taking
a rest at the midway point on the nature trail and finally a
walk on the boardwalk.
My name is Avery. I am about 11
months old. I have still have a lot of puppy in me and love
to play. If you are looking for a young active gal who loves
to play, I could be your gal. I also love to cuddle. I must
sound too good to be true. My adult coat is just coming in and
my foster dad thinks I am going to be beautiful.
