Bella

Bella went to her forever home on Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Mass.

Here is an update from Bella's mom on December 30, 2006:

To All Our Friends At GSGRR, we want to wish all of you a safe, happy and healthy New Year.

I can't believe it has been 4 months since Bella arrived from LA. Needless to say, she has completed our family. We moved to Haverhill MA 4 days before Thanksgiving. So things have been very hectic around here. Through it all...Ms. Bella with her sweet, gentle disposition kept me focused and grounded. Just looking into her eyes gives me peace. She really loves it up here. Plenty of room to run and enjoy life. I love to watch her in the front yard, just lying there watching all the birds and ducks fly by. Bella just loves her kitty sisters, Ruby and Emerald and on several occasions I have seen Emmy lie down next to her. Of course...where's the camera when you need it most. LOL

Today it snowed a bit, so I thought I'd take a few pictures of Bella to show you her first time in the snow.

Bella's the best "gift" we could have ever given to ourselves. My husband enjoys her immensely and has taught her to sit with a doggie treat on her nose and catch it before it hits the ground...no small feat but this Beauty has shown us time and time again, nothing is impossible.

Bella won the pet of the month contest in September 2006.

Here is an update from her momma, Ginny, on Sunday august 6th.

Dear Jim, Lee, sweet Angela, and Jean,

I didn't realize that Holly was doing a movie, she surprised me later with it. We welcome Bella into our home and hearts with open arms.

From all of us here, to all of you absolutely wonderful, wonderful people, we send these pictures with our love and thanks and wish you all...as Angela will say...."Golden Blessings."

Ginny, Holly, Darrah and Delaney :)

P. S. I hope the movie comes through for all of you.
Jim, a big thank you to your wife Carol too, I know that she had a big part in this also :)...thank you Carol!!!

Bella is an amazing 18 month old brindle/golden mix girl. Her coat is very unique with the undercoat in black and warm sunset highlights. She is like a ballerina gingerly tiptoeing across the house with her slipper feet. We like to call her "Bella the Ballerina". Even though it's evident that Bella is a golden mix, her mother was a purebred golden retriever so she has all the attributes you would find in the golden retriever pedigree. Bella, and her littermate Della, were raised by an elderly man who gave them much love and attention since puppyhood, but due to health reasons the elderly pet owner had to surrender his precious duo (Bella and Della) to GSGRR.

Bella has sort of a passive temperament that is both sweet & calm natured, good with other dogs and children, loves the great outdoors, well mannered inside the home, crated trained, walks very well on the leash, HW negative, spayed, very healthy, and anxiously awaits her forever home.

Can you offer this sweet ballerina a forever dance floor in her performance of "Life with Me In It"? If so, Bella will give you unconditional love in return and undeniably become your loyal companion.
