Boomer

Boomer went to his forever home
on Saturday July 21, 2007 in Massachusetts.
Boomer is a strikingly good looking
dog, due to his size and very light color. He is about 3 years
old and still a young active dog. Boomer is very affectionate
and loves to be petted. He is not aggressive to other dogs and
likes to play chase and romp with our dogs. He has responded
splendidly to training as he is both intelligent and willing
to please. Boomer is crate trained, house broken, walks well
on a leash and is learning to lay quietly next to our chairs
when we eat. Boomer is appropriate for an active individual
or family, but is not suited for small children due to his size
and energy level. He would also do well with older people, if
they were active walkers or runners. He needs a fenced yard.
Boomer is not interested in retrieving toys or balls. He would
prefer to interact with his people or dogs.
Boomer came from the St. Tammany Parish Shelter
in Louisiana on 8 May 07. He has received his shots and has
been neutered. Boomer was dewormed, his heartworm check was
negative. We have bathed and groomed him; given him Interceptor
for heartworm prevention; and applied Front Line to control
fleas and ticks. This big boy has adjusted well to our family,
but he is now ready for a family of his own.
