Buck now Buddy

Update in August 2010--

I thought I would give you an update on Buddy. He continues to prove that Goldens are the best dogs.
He is loving and now that he knows that no one will leave him he seems to be more tolerant of all dogs as well. Of course he has never met a person he didn't love.
When we are in Wisconsin he walks on the trails thru the forest with Bruce almost everyday. The little creatures in the forest really get his attention. The only thing he really doesn't like is swimming in the lake. He wades but seldom swims even when tempted by treats.
Regards,
Carol

Buck was adopted to Mandeville LA.

Update from his mom and dad in January 2007:

You asked us to let you know how Buck is doing. First, we have renamed him Buddy. Buck seemed more appropriate for a boxer or doberman than a lover boy like Buddy. He is doing very well and we are very pleased with him. We have installed an Invisible Fence and he is now thoroughly trained. He loves to ride in the car and we take him almost everywhere with us. Also, we take him for about a 45 min. walk most days.

As you can see, this adoption is a great success. Our thanks to you and all the others at Gulf South Golden Retriever Rescue.

Bruce & Carol

Hi, I'm Buck. I've just been enrolled into GSGRR this week, and I'm still getting to know my foster mom at this time. I'm quite a handsome ~Little Rascal~ as you can see by my pictures. To date, I'm heartworm positive but don't let that stop you from adopting me. I can be treated for that and give you lots of golden love for many more years to come.

I am just a little too interested in cats and other dogs so I must go to a home where I am the only animal.
