Chance 2- now Buddy

We saw Chance 2 at the Barkus parade in January 2008. He looks great.

Chance went to his forever home in Mandeville, LA on August 25th, 2007.

Hi Judy,

Just wanted to update you about Chance. Bill and I now call him Buddy and he is all that and more!

We celebrated his 3rd birthday (we were lucky to know his real birthdate from his foster parents, Bill and Gyanne) yesterday with party hats, party decorations and a special cake that Buddy thoroughly enjoyed. He even wore his party hat, well for about 10 seconds, anyway.

We took him tent camping in Grand Isle about two weeks ago. He loved the water and seemed quite happy to have his Mom and Dad 's attention 24/7. He also seemed to like the idea he could sleep anywhere on us he found comfortable.

We could not have asked for a better companion and friend. He loves his walks, rides in the auto and especially water. The first day he was with us, Buddy discovered our fountain and thought it was his personal swimming pool.

We will send pictures soon.

Thanks again for all of your help in selecting the perfect fit for our family and thanks again to our friends in Jackson, Ms that were Buddy's foster parrents, Bill and Gyanne.

Kathy and Bill

Hi, my name is Chance. I will be 3 years old in September, and my foster parents say I have had a tough life. I was neglected and locked up in a horse trailer by my 1st owner. Then I went to a nice home. I liked living indoors, but they eventually put me out and then chained me up on concrete, and I was in bad shape when my foster parents took me in. I am OK now, and love being in the house again. I even sleep in their bedroom!

I wish I could have another chance, and find a forever home." Chance is very healthy now, has learned to walk on a leash, is house trained, is heartworm negative, and is a very sweet boy. His manners have improved.

He loves to put his head in your lap and be petted. He gets along well with our Golden, but I think he needs a home where he is the only dog, and can catch up on all the affection he never received. He is active, and loves his walks. Like most Goldens, he is much happier living indoors. Chance deserves another chance.
