Colby

Colby went to his forever
home in Mandeville LA on June 10th, 2006.
Update on Sept 1, 2006:
He is doing great
- seemed to be housetrained from the get go - is very obedient
and (like a true golden) really wants to please. Loves living inside
- but can't wait for the long walks each day on the golf course.
It was hard to pick one from all
the ones that you had - but Colby fitsus
like a glove!! I was so glad to see that Bud, Buddy and Krypto
all found new homes. Keep
up the great work. Thanks again for finding us a great
new family member!!

Update on August 25th:
Here is an update -
Colby - renamed Cooper - must be in line for being one of the smartest
goldens!!! He fit right into our family from day one. Even though
we
were told that he had lived outside (tied to a tree) - he was
housebroken from the start. He's an inside dog now and loves the
cold
tiles and air conditioning! He's a real people dog and so he follows
us
everywhere around the house. One of his favorite places is to sit
on
the deck with us and watch the golfers go by. He really enjoys his
long
walks on the golf course every morning and we often meet up with
another
golden who lives near by - so he has a playmate. They have a great
time
playing together. Everyone who comes to our house wants to take him
home with them as he is such a sweet and friendly dog and always
seems
to be smiling! Thank you for finding us the perfect match for our
family. Keep up the great work that you do!

Colby is about a year old nice boy. He is really
friendly and gets along
well with everybody. Colby has not had a very good life and spent
most of
it chained to a tree. Somehow through it all he has maintained that
wonderful Golden personality. Colby tested HW positive but is on
preventative. At his young age the HW's cannot be severe.
