Delilah

Delilah went to her forever home in New Hampshire on January 15th, 2006.

update on May 6-

Hi!! I wanted to update you now that we have had her for a little while!! She is great!! She fits in so well we forget she is here!! She is very rarely naughty now, and doesn't have accidents anymore....She loves going to see her doggy relatives and even had a slumber party!!

Here are some pics for you guys!! I hope they come thru! As you can tell, she LOVES being with the kids...And, yes, that little pink & white thing Delilah is hiding under is my daughter's TODDLER bed!! I don't know how she gets under there, but it one of her favorite places! Amanda, Jim, Noah & Natalie

Delilah is a 5 or 6 year old gal who has stolen her foster mom's heart. She is very lovable and wants to be by your side constantly. She is the typical golden thru and thru.

She has been spayed and is slightly heartworm positive. We have her on the alternative longer term treatment as she is not showing any clinical signs.

Update on Feb 25th:

Hi! Thanks again for your visit! Hope you are doing well! I saw the pictures of the parade on the GSGRR web site. I bet it was fun!

Delilah is doing great! She has been accident free for a while now and we are keeping our fingers crossed!! I am continuing her heartworm preventive monthly. I want to re-evaluate in 6 months or so. We'll see how it goes I guess.

We had our first real bath. I was alot more pleased about it then Delilah was, but she cooperated. She also got to meet my parents dogs, all three...They got along fine after loads of butt sniffing. Thank goodness people don't greet each other that way!! She fell asleep on the way home, and didn't budge until our driveway.

I ran out of food one night so while I was visiting w/ my sister in law I grabbed a little of the food she feeds her doberman. It is ultra healthy, organic stuff w/ more ingredients than I cook with...I brought it home and served it to Delilah. She just looked at me like "What is this??!!", then she tasted it and made short work of it. I have her on a lamb and rice premium food. She seems to like it, and I feel like it is healthier for her.

So, we love her and wouldn't trade her for anything. We could not have gotten a sweeter, more gentle spirit!

Amanda
