Echo- now Benny

Echo went to his forever home in Maine on February 11th, 2006. He was picked up at Logan Airport by his mom and new human brother.

Everyone is really excited and Echo rode all the way back to maine in the backseat on the boy's lap.

Echo arrived on the eve of a big snowstorm in the Northeast and we were happy to see him get home safely.

Update on June 23, 2006:

Hi Lee,
I have been meaning to email you.
We are loving Benny (Echo). He is really such a great dog, and continues to
surprise me with his better "mature" behavior. There isn't a day that goes
by that I don't kiss him on the head and tell him how glad I am to have him!
He has fully recovered from the heartworm, gaining the weight that he lost
and then some. He is a very happy boy, and I feel so good that we have
given him the life and home in which to be happy! I even loved him for the month of rain that we had in May, and my house and car smelled like "wet dog"!

hope all is well,
Lisa

Update on March 22, 2006:

Benny is an awesome dog, and not to brag but everyone tells me so! We have started obedience classes, and he is very easy to train so far. We are
still working on his jumping up on people, and I cannot for the life of me
get him to jump into the back of my car! He is so good with other dogs,
that it is easy to take him places where he can run off-leash with others.

He is really great with the children. He seems to sense that the 5 yr old
can tolerate more play than the 2 yr old. He is getting lots of love, and
giving it too. I keep telling everyone that Benny was meant to be a New
Englander. He loves to play in the snow, and run through the woods. I am
looking forward to getting him to Cape Cod this summer, to see what he will do in the ocean. I have sent along some photos.
Take care.
Lisa
