Faith

Faith went to her forever home
in Gulf Breeze, FL on June 27th, 2007.
Faith is doing really well in her
new home with her canine brother Jake and their daddy.
My name is Faith
and I have high Hopes of finding a forever home. My brother
Barron (also up for adoption) and sister Hope (adopted in March
2007) and I were destined to be puppy mill property but the
wonderful people at Gulf South saved us from that life. Now
we will have the chance to know love and companionship; like
it was meant to be.
Since being rescued I have been learning how
to be a Golden Retriever. I love to be inside the house since
I only lived outside for so long. I am learning how wonderful
it is to be petted and given kisses and I make a point of it
each morning when the alarm clock goes off to get in my snuggle
time with my foster mommy. Almost my entire puppyhood was spent
on cement but now I love the feel of carpeting, grass, and of
course the sofa is one of my favorite places. I’ve learned
what walks are and I am great on a leash; with just a little
guidance at the start. Dog biscuits sure are good too.
Even though I am 17 months old I am still just
learning about the world and will need some extra love and patience
to teach me the ropes of life. I’m kind and gentle and
would like to know when I’m a good girl. No one talked
to me growing up so I’ve just begun to hear those kind
words and I sure would like to hear more of them.
My Golden personality is just under the surface
and making appearances more and more each day. You can sneak
a peak of this when I’m playing with my new stuffed monkey
friend or I’ll pat you with my paw so you don’t
stop the belly rubs.
Of course I am fully vetted, heartworm negative
and spayed and just waiting for that special person/family to
come along to make their life complete.

surprises are in store for you if you adopt me. I promise to
love you “furever”.
