Helga now Hope- updated photos oct 2007

Helga loves her new brother, champ- can you tell?

Helga went to her forever home in Long Island, NY on May 12, 2007. She will be living with an Old Gold alumni, Champion.

Update on May 15, 2007: Hey there! Good morning! I sent some recent pictures of the babies, they are getting along pretty darn good the last couple of days and I pray it continues, they are having a blast in the pictures I sent- I also had them pose so you can see why we thought Hope was so little. Champ is huge next to her. He is beefy and much taller. Anyway, you will judge for yourself when you see them. Don't worry anymore, it looks like Champ has finally welcomed his little sister!!

Helga in Old Norse means “holy” or “blessed” and that is what I want to give to you! I want a forever home where I can show “complete devotion,” just like my name means.

I am approximately three years old and just full of life and love. I LOVE to be petted, well almost as much as I like to play fetch. One of my other favorite things to do is go for a walk or a ride in the car. I especially like to play with other dogs too but unfortunately I don’t like cats!! They are just too much fun to chase and they don’t like to be caught either. Kids are great!, they run and play at my speed! I also want to be part of everything they want to play from fetch to jumping on the trampoline with them.

My foster family thinks I am one special girl because they wanted to adopt me but with three other goldens of their own and fostering they didn’t think they could give me the love and attention I deserve!! They say I am “a very good girl” and am going to be even more gorgeous when my coat grows out, whatever that means. So do you think you could let me love you for the rest of your life??
