Lola

Lola went to her forever home in Billerica, Mass on January 28, 2007.

Update from her momma in September 2007:

hi jeanne!
just wanted to drop a little note about how we are doing here in ma with lola. she is a fantastic dog and my husband more than anyone, (except me), has just fallen in love with her. she still has her tremor in the back leg area, but as we know, she will always have this. it does not stop her one bit, though. she loves everything and is growing and learning everyday.
we are very glad we adopted her and hope that all is going well with you. take care and thanks for sending us the newsletter. we do spread the word about your group so hopefully others we know will call.

Hello my name is Lola. She is being fostered by a wonderful family in LA. As you can see, she loves to be hugged and is great around kids. Also, we have learned that Lola has great leash manners, as well as being well mannered in the house. She is a golden mix but we are not sure what she is mixed with. She weighs about 29 lbs now at about 8 months of age so she will be on the small side. She is perfect for a family or single person who is looking for the golden personality but a smaller sized doggie. She loves to walk around the house with a stuffed toy in her mouth, isn't that a typical retriever?

We pulled her from a shelter and she had a pneumonia but has fully recovered from that. She has been spayed and is up to date on shots. She is also heartworm negative.

She has not been exposed to cats so we are not sure as to her tolerance around cats.

Can you give Lola her forever home?
