Luka

Luka went to his forever home in New Orleans on Friday July 20, 2007.

My name is Luka. (this must mean Lucky in some language).

I am a golden/great Pyrenees mix that was due to be put down at the shelter. My foster moms were there to pick up my friend Chaz (also on the page) and they were told about me. That’s why I am so lucky! They think I am a very friendly boy.

I am about 3 years old, UTD on my vaccinations, I have been neutered and I have been started on heartworm preventative since I am heartworm positive. (I am not worried because they say I will be fine with treatment) I have met most of the dogs that live with my foster moms and I really like them. My foster moms are very impressed with how good I am in the crate. I am doing well on the leash but need some work. I am very affectionate, love to be petted and enjoy being brushed. (my thick blonde coat needs some work but looks better everyday) I am working on my basic commands and house breaking skills. I know it won’t take long because I am very smart.

Finding my forever home would really be my second luckiest day.
