Red was found wondering on the streets in Metairie, LA when a compassionate woman rescued him, kept him at her house for a day and then took him to her vet. He spent the next 10 days at the vet clinic and noone claimed him. Red is about 8 years old, neutered, and heartworm negative. He is an affectionate senior who loves to be petted and wag his tail to every encouragement from a human being. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys human companionship to a great extent. Red has some skin allergies and is on antibiotics. However, according to the veterinarian, the skin condition has improved over the last few days. He will be a great addition to any family.
