Sadie now bonnie

Sadie, now Bonnie, went to her forever home in Montgomery, AL in january 2009.

Update in March 2009:

Just wanted to let you know that Bonnie is doing just great!!! We had her treated about two weeks ago for the heartworms. She stayed at the vets for three days.it was a terrible time for me!! I missed her so.she
came home quite subdued. We have to keep her very quiet for thirty days. That means that she can only walk around the block about twice a day.and she is used to walking twenty minutes each morning before we head for work each day and a good forty-five minute walk each evening.she loves to chase the ball in our back yard too!! She is sooooooo active! This is hard for her and she seems so sad.I will be so glad when April 26 rolls around!!! We just love her to pieces! Everyone who meets her talks about how beautiful she is.they fall in love right away! Of course they love that we named her Bonnie to go along with Clyde.ha! She has chewed a few socks but other than that she is has been the perfect lady!! And yes.we all still sleep in the bed.you just make it work! Thank God for King sized beds.ha! All I can say is thank you so much for what you do and thanks for sending Bonnie our way.I am going to take her to the therapy dog training when the weather warms up and she feels better.Life is good!
Have a golden day! Chuck and Melissa

Hey Everyone! Clyde has a new sister! He welcomed her with open paws! Her name is Bonnie Lucille (after my grandma). Clyde is named after my grandpa… He has been just fine with her. She looks just like him before he turned gray around the face. She is quite the sweetie pie! We rescued her from the Golden Rescue in New Orleans. She is very calm and affectionate just like him… It was quite a night last night with all four of us in one bed…we might have to rethink that!!! Arggghhhhh!

Sadie3 was an owner turn-in.She has been a perfect houseguest here in her foster home. She is well behaved and very loving.I have yet to hear her bark. She will run to the fence with my 2 as they bark their heads off but so far not a sound out of her.

She has not attempted to get on the furniture,or counter surf or pick up shoes that have been left out or had any accidents inside. She is quite when left in the laundry room with a baby-gate and does not attempt to get out.
She will make someone a wonderful family dog.If you Sadie3 is a good match for you please complete our online application and mention her name.
