Sassy went to her forever home on Saturday November 18, 2006 in Massachusetts.

Update from her new momma on December 10, 2006:

Jim, I apologize for the delayed update. Sassy fit in immediately on arrival. She has become my shadow, never more than inches away from me.Her favorite things are food, me and the couch.We take her for short runs with the three other dogs every day. She has no problems keeping up with them. Right now, Sassy is snoring on the couch with all fours up in the air.She knows how much she's loved.

Please let Jeanne and Jan know how well she's doing and thank you so much for Sassy.

Fine wine gets better with age, and so holds true for Ms. Sassy who is now 12 years old. Undeniably, Sassy is in her golden years and needs someone to love her beyond what any foster parent can do. Sassy was a loyal companion in her yester years, and just recently her original family surrendered her after 12 years Sassy being a loyal pet to them. Sassy had a guardian angel, a next door neighbor, that saved her from a fateful road that no dog would want to partake. Sassy deserves to live out the rest of her golden years with great love and admiration...something that any elderly soul would want in their Golden Book of Life.

Sassy is still very much spunky. She is heartworm negative, up-to-date on her shots, spayed even though this classy lady has reached retirement in the puppy making business, and overall in great health and spirits. Sassy was a backyard dog for most of her life, but she is so gracious to come inside when invited by her new foster Dad. Sassy is very sweet, loving, and a loyal companion through and through. She loves every living being and wants so much a family of her very own TODAY, TOMORROW, AND FOREVER.
