Springer

Springer and his new family

Springer went to his forever home in Alabaster, AL on December 1, 2006.

Update from his new momma on Feb 10:

Just wanted to send all of you an update on Buzz with a few pictures. He is
doing fantastic and we could not imagine our world without him. He loves
everyone he meets and is learning new things all the time. All of our
friends and family comment on what a wonderful dog he is and how lucky we are.

Hi Felicia,

Just wanted to say hello and let you know we are doing Great. My Son has decided that Springer should be named Buzz after his favorite cartoon. We are all so Happy to have him and he is a true joy. He has wonderful manners and is a great big teddy bear. I took him to the vet on Thursday for a check up and the Dr said he looked great. We also got him microchipped and got his heartworm and Flea Medication then we took our 1st trip to Petsmart. He is getting along great with everyone including the cats and he is starting to go to the door when he needs to Potty (Yay!!) We are going to a Christmas Parade this morning and we are all excited. We are also starting Obedience Classes in a few weeks. He is such a wonderful creature I have no idea how he ended up in rescue but I want to thank Gulf South and Everyone who helped us in the process. Thank You so much Felicia and Clint for being SO helpful in everyway. Your Love and Affection for him have helped this transition and thanks again for making the long drive to meet us. We cannot say Thank You enough for letting us be this special golden boys family.

Springer definitely has a spring in his step. Why you ask? He knows what a beautiful Golden boy he is!! He is great with children of toddler age or older and other dogs (male or female) Springer just thinks cats are interesting, but cats don't seem to like him.

He is around 60 lbs and neutered. He has a great spirit and his energy is contagious. He loves to cuddle, play with his tug toy and can fetch like a champ! I have been working with him on a lead and he caught on quickly. He is very smart and aims to please. He would be a great addition to any family or just a companion for a single person. He is always happy to see anyone who will give him some lovin. So if you are ready to have a loving, exciting friend just waiting for you at home to give you some kisses after a long rough day, please contact GSGRR to adopt this very special boy. He is ready to "Spring" into his forever home today!!!
