Theo now Gumbo

Theo went to his forever home in Lake City, FL on August 17, 2007. He is joining a lab and 2 cats and a mom named Holly. He has been renamed Gumbo to link him to his LA past.

This is Theo- a very young, light golden. He is approximately 6-8 mos old. He was found wandering outside the shelter in Houma. He was very underweight and had some health issues such as anemia, hookworms and an unknown infection. He has been treated for these problems and is now thriving. Theo is now eating everything in sight and gaining weight rapidly.

He is an active puppy, loving to play fetch, go for walks or just play with the other dogs. He also loves to try to catch anything that flies-bugs, birds you name it. He is learning his basic commands and doing very well. He is very happy to sit by your side and just get as much attention as you can give. He charms everyone who meets him.

Theo will be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. His neutering had to wait for an improvement in his health. He has tested HW neg and was started on HW preventative. Theo may not do well around very young children because of his exuberance but will make someone an excellent pet. If you think you have the time this young wonderful golden requires act fast and fill out an application because I don't think he will be here long.
