Thunder

updated photo of thunder with his new momma

Thunder went to his forever home on Thursday October 12th, 2006.

Update from his family on October 22, 2006:

Jim,

Thunder is doing great!! He is such a sweet boy. He finally warmed up to Coe and they are great friends. They have a game where He lies on his back and she jumps over him while he paws at her. He is a great protector and makes me feel very safe when Jeff is at work. He never leaves my side, no matter where I go he goes. He has figured out how to open every door in the house with his nose so I couldn't hide from him if I tried. He mostly sleeps at the doorway of our bedroom when Jeff is not home. When he is home, He sleeps on his pillow in the corner of our room. He is also an L.S.U dog now. He has the L.S.U. collar, Tag with his name on it, and leash. Jeff bought him an L.S.U. jearsy for halloween and when they watch the games. I have to admit he has become a little spoiled but we feel he deserves it.I am so glad that I followed my gut on him. He is a wonderful and perfect edition to our family and the BIG brother that Coe has always wanted!! I will send Halloween pictures soon for you to enjoy.

Jeff, Danielle, Coe and Thunder

Just an update on Thunder. We got home last night and he looked a little sad. He has been attached to my hip all night. He lays where I sit he follows me all over the house. He is being a very sweet boy but does'nt really know what to make of Coe. She is alot younger and loves to play and he just looks at her like she is crazy. But I think it is just the new surroundings. I am going to take them both to the dog park tomorrow for some excercise and get him a bit aquanted with the dogs in the neighborhood. I will give you another update tomorrow so until then.

DANIELLE, COE AND THUNDER

P.S. I have mirrors in my dining room, He was very upset at his reflection!! After I soothed him and explained that it was him he seems ok now!!

Is that angels I hear bowling in heaven? Nahhhh...that's Thunder running across the hardwood floor chasing after his ball.

Like the calm before the storm, Thunder is your typical golden. He is 8 years old and can hang just fine with the younger crowd at golden acres. His previous owners gave him a boot camp haircut, but his coat will be back long and flowing in the very near future. Thunder says, "I will strut my stuff then and boy will I show off what a great looking guy I am". As you can see by the picture, he is a true stud muffin.

He is up-to-date on all his shots and heartworm negative. Now that deserves a big loud THUNDER from across the sky. And believe it or not, he is ready to let out a sonic boom in his adoption process. Thunder wants an everlasting home and family in his golden years, can you please make that possible for this golden boy.
