Abby was adopted by Donna, one of our volunteer's daughter, and they are very happy together. See photo taken in December 2009.

Abbey is a very sweet, well mannered honey colored golden.  She's eager to please and will be a wonderful companion to someone special.  She is great with children, other dogs and has much respect for cats.   She is an older dog and understandably a little slower but tries her best not to show it.  Her favorite spot is curled up right next to you on the floor.  There are no bad habits here, she's a wonderful, calm companion that loves attention.

Her prior owner gave her up for adoption due to consistent work travel schedule with no one at home to care for her.  It was felt she deserved a home with a companion that would be there to enjoy her company with a yard and regular  walks.
