Apollo went to his forever home in Rhode Island on Saturday August 6, 2005.

Update on May 16, 2006:

Just a quick note to let you know Buzz (former Apollo ) is doing great. He is definitely right at home with us. He is not the skinny scared Golden I picked up in Conn. back in August, he is now a big happy dog who enjoys his family, and we enjoy him. James and Terri

August 9th update:

Buzz has settled in very nicely! He is currently sound asleep at my feet. He shows great patience with my children, they still are a little excited about having a dog for a playmate! He is eating well and took his worm medicine without incident yesterday for me. Buzz will be meeting our Vet tomorrow afternoon, I am sure they will get along just fine also. He is such a gentle soul everyone who meets him says how beautiful and gentle he is and we agree! We are so glad that we found him! He is a perfect fit with our family! Thank you for all you have done for us.

Update on august 6th from his new dad:

Just a quick note to let you both know Buzz arrived safe and sound. He had a very full first day and we can't wait for tomorrow, he is more beautiful than pictures could ever show and the kids have a new best friend! Thank you for all you have done, I will send pictures soon.
