Bacchus went to his forever home in Denham Springs AL on February 26, 2010.

Update from his new momma on March 6, 2010:

Bacchus has been with us for over a week now and he is doing great.  Mali, my lab mix, was NOT impressed the first night, but by the next day they were playing like they have been friends forever.  My cat, Cody, took three days to come around and now he and Bacchus are best buds also.  He's a little rough with his playing.  I know he isn't being mean---he just doesn't know how big he is.  I just wanted to let you know that he is doing well!
  Thanks, Jenny

Just like his krewe namesake, Bacchus is a party pup determined to make sure everyone has a good time. This sweet, loving boy is ready to play with all the other dogs, go for a mile run or climb up in your lap for some loving. (Yes, like many Goldens, he thinks he's a lap dog.)

At the LSU Vet School Open House, he kissed babies, nudged adults for petting and enjoyed attention from visitors of all ages.

Bacchus still has a few puppy traits. He likes paper and will get Kleenex right from the box. (I'm working on that:) However, he's housebroken and doesn’t mind being crated at night or for short periods during the day.
