Belle came to us (Reggie<- my dog and myself)
today. She was a little dirty from being outside but I gave
her a bath and she is as shiny as a new penny! She loved the
water and rolled in the puddles left behind. All three of us
took a big adventure to PetCo where Belle picked out a new purple
collar, leash and bowl. She also got a new ball which she was
proud to carry around. After that exciting trip, we went to
the fly (levee park) for a picnic. Belle gave her belly to everyone
there and loved having the other dogs smell and play but only
for a little bit. After about an hour of one
dog continously bothering her, she gave a low moan to warn him
to back off (no biting or aggressiveness, just a low moan).
She gave kisses to everyone and played with reggie for a few
hours. We then took a long walk and are now home with both pups
in a deep sleep!
She is the sweetest girl ever, that has yet
to leave my side. She loves attention but has very good manners
and is not at all pushy like MY lovely
spoiled dog. She is patient and waits her turn for a treat,
food, and love (ie she lets Reggie do everything first). She
has only barked once at the neighbors above me who are throwing
some party (they were making some loud noises).
This dog would be perfect for anyone! Do not know how she is
with cats or how she does in a crate but so far she is very
good and very curious with my two rabbits and had not any accidents.
I have a bell on my door that my dog rings when he needs to
go out and so far, he has been ringing it for the
both of them! More updates to come but please contact with any
questions, I would love to find her the perfect family!
