Bella7’s owner was unable to keep her due to a move. She made her way to GSGRR through kind friends who kept her for several months. She is light golden in color, with very wavy fur. She is a beautiful dog.

Bella has a lovely golden retriever personality. She was instantly friendly with our 6 year-old male, and wants to play much more than our “old man” does!. She also likes to be close to him. Every person is greeted with a wagging tail and a “happy growl”. She wants to be next to us, but is not pushy when we don’t have time for her. Bella is also a fetching machine and loves to swim.

Bella loves to chew on bones and dog toys, but has not picked up any of the myriad shoes and other goodies on our floor. She has been well trained not to jump on people, though in her exuberance she sometimes forgets and needs to be reminded.

Bella was mostly kept outside, and we are working to reinforce housetraining. She does well in a crate, though we won’t keep her in one after the housetraining is 100% complete. She has been a perfect houseguest in every other way.

Bella is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is on heartworm preventative.Her HW status will need to be checked in 6 months.
