Just wanted to send yall an update on Gene.  We adopted Gene (bo) from yall in October.  He has provided our family with amazing amounts of love and joy.  He has meshed with our 4 kids and 2 dogs like he has been here since birth.  He has also proven to be quite the character too.  His personality fits perfect in our family.

We have done follow up with our vet, since he was heart worm positive when we adopted him.  He is doing well on all the medicines.  We switched from an oral (iverheart) preventative to a topical (advantage multi) and continued the antibiotics (doxycyline).  Our vet just loved him up!  He has lost some weight with diet modification and exercise. Our Vet says he is perfect in every way! (but we already knew that!

I attached two pictures for yall of his life at the Jarreau-Rachal house.  He is sound asleep in front of the Christmas tree in one and he is watching Christmas cartoons on TV with the girls.  He is SO SPOILED!  He has been such a blessing to our family.  Thank you!
