Breeze

Breeze went to his forever home in Vermont on Sunday, December 24, 2006 and joined her family of Momma Penny and his canine sister, Griffin.

My name is Breeze.

Update from his foster mom on December 14, 2006:

Hello,

Just wanted to share Breeze’s latest adventure. Tonight we had some company over and they have a three year old son who loves to play in Ryan’s giant Lego collection. Since we were all on the floor playing, Breeze took it on himself to literally “plop” his big self in the middle of the pile and then try and hide his ball in the Lego and then dig it out. He is actually laying on top of the pile. I know that it had to hurt. The game was so much fun we helped him hide the ball and then he would dig it out with his paws. Too cute!!

Update on Breeze from his foster mom:

Hello Everyone,

I am finally getting around to sending out some new pictures of our current foster – Breeze!

He is a nine year old golden boy who came to us from Florida. In his recent bio listed on the website it says that his family no longer wanted him and turned him into the pound with his full medical records. Why, no one has a clue.

Breeze is just full of life and LOVES tennis balls. He is overweight right now but his foster family is working on taking the weight off with diet, exercise and extra love. He has very long blonde eyelashes which the pictures just don’t show. He gets along great with his foster siblings; two females and one other male. He shows absolutely no food aggression. His coat was shaved before he came into the group and is still growing in.

One of his foster mommy’s favorite things he does is cross his front paws upon laying down, not always but the majority of the time. By the way he has great house slippers too!

The other favorite thing he does is that he will play ball by himself. He uses his paws to roll or fling up the tennis ball into the air and chase after it. After he plays that game for awhile he takes the tennis ball and puts in places where it is hard to get; under the bookcase, behind his brother… and then works to get it out. This goes on and on. It is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

Breeze loves kids and sometimes doesn’t wait patiently in the morning for my son to get up and play ball with him. Kisses work great for waking up lazy bones.

He is very affectionate and loving. I hope someone can find it in their heart to open the door for this older gentleman to walk through.

I am a young 9 year old gentleman. My original family turned in into a shelter with 9 years of medical records. I do not know why they did not want me any more but GSGRR rescued me from the gas chamber and have promised to find me a forever home. I am a sweet guy that is UTD on his shots and HW negative. I get along well with other dogs and ready to go to my forever home.
