Chance
Chance went to his forever home in Rochester NY on June 8th, 2006. Chance was joined by GSGRR alumni Sammy on august 10th 2007 and they are fast becoming true friends. Chance is about 1 year old and is the littermate of Kip. He needs some tender loving care. They both are laid back and are responding well to human attention. They are in a foster home where they play with two of goldens and do really well. They will quickly respond to all the loving they will receive. They are heartworm negative and ready to go. Update photos of Chance and his canine sister, Rosie, who passed away in August. Sad to say---
It's been some time since I've written. We've been busy getting our daughter back to college and getting the others out of bed before 7am! Chance is doing great. Every day we mention how glad we are to have him. Even our neighbors and friends call to take him on a walk. The adjustment has been almost flawless. On a sadder note, another reason I haven't written, our precious Rosie passed away about a month ago. It all started with her not eating and losing weight. We thought it was from the stress of having a new dog in the house. Turns out she had cancer and went down hill very quickly. It's been a big loss, even Chance mourned with us. BUT we're even more grateful to have him and frankly, he's just blossomed over the month. I think he likes the undivided attention. Anyway, here's a picture of the two of them this past June. Barb
Dear Kathy and Jim,
Chance has arrived to his new home. He is beautiful! Our Rosie thinks he is, too. Chance has eaten, pooped, peed, rolled in the grass, played with his new toys and then tried to get comfortable on the couch. He is now on a walk with our daughter. We thought after a long day in the crate and car he could use some exercise and fresh air. He fits in perfectly here. Thanks for sending him our way. We are so happy to have him in our lives. We'll keep you posted and hopefully, have some pictures to send soon.
