Clay
Clay went to his forever home in CT on March 10, 2005. His new family also has a golden retriever puppy named Daisey who is 8 months old and they fell in love instantly.
update on oct 15th. Sorry it has taken so long to send pictures. Clay
and Daisy have become the best of friends; they are never more than
10 feet from each other. Our off white walls have taken quite a beating
from these 2 rough housing, but mud washes off. We go to the dog
park 3 times a week. Daisy loves to swim, but she tends to stay close
to shore so that Clay can play with her. His elbows keep him from
being able to swim. Jen was nervous about adopting but after these
last 6 months with Clay she believes rescues are the way to go. I
am glad to here that Jim and the other rescues are doing well after
the hurricane. Thanks Greg update on march 17th : Clay and Daisy are getting along pretty well, Daisey has a little too much energy at times. They both just got back from the groomers and they look great…pictures to follow. Clay’s skin and ear infections are gone. Clay is still a little too interested in Moo-shoo, our cat, but we are working on it.: Clay is a large 1 year old Blonde boy. He is real gentle and loves to be with people. He does well with other dogs and is ready to go. Update from his foster mom in CT on March 8th: Clay is a very attentive young dog. He will probably train easily as he is food motivated and loves to please. He is crate trained and loves to play with other dogs. He had his first snow experience today and loved it. He loves to be part of the family and sleep at your feet.
