"Debbie went to her forever home to share her life with Richard and Melissa in Pensacola on 2/14/2004."

Richard writes on 3/2/04

"After years (and what seemed like millennia to Melissa), I finally gave in, and we got a dog. Her name is Nola, a commonly used acronym for New Orleans, Louisiana, because we got her from a golden retriever rescue
organization in Louisiana during Mardi Gras. She is a dark red, three year old female golden retriever, and she's great. She's already house broken and somewhat trained, we're working on that."
