The remainder of the weekend went very well - dinner party and all! Our son came home from Boston to meet Zack. It was love at first sight - the two became great pals, falling asleep on the sofa together Saturday evening. Sunday, after an early morning walk with David, breakfast was a split session with Tauri going first. Later in the morning a Davis cousin stopped by to introduce Adam to her new golden puppy Lola (we had already met). Zack and Lola became fast friends. We watched them play and laughed till our sides hurt.
What a great do Zack is - I can't believe that anyone in their right mind
would give him up. Between our guests, our son, even my mother, Zack has
done nothing but impress! We are so thankful that he is ours.
I brought over all his paper work to our vet this morning. He'll call me
tomorrow after he talks to Dr. Fitzgerald to let me know what I need to do
next.
Thank you for all your hard work to save these beautiful animals. I intend
to do a personal story in our pet edition (May 20th) and will send you a
copy. I'll try to get it into the South Burlington paper as well.
Have a great week. Hope the race on Sunday wasn't too difficult. We'll talk
soon I'm sure.
