Elise

Elise went to her forever home in Alabama on Sunday February 25, 2007.

Update from her new momma in May 2007:

Judy,
Everything is great. She has really adjusted well to our family. She understands us well, knows what we want, comes when called, etc. She is totally trained with the electric fence, which is a real blessing. Several of our friends are so jealous that we found such a great dog that is past the puppy stage. The boys adore her and we feel like she's been a part of our family for years. Thanks for checking on us/her. I am going to still push your rescue to others here who are considering a dog.

Chris

Here’s a couple of pictures of Elise with the boys I thought you may want to see. I hope you can tell from these pictures how happy she makes my boys. Ben is on the left, he is 4. Andrew is on the right, he is 5 ½. So far everything is great. She has a tendency to wander off a bit, but we got an invisible fence installed on Monday and she has already pretty much figured it out. Plus, as she gets more used to us and learns her name better I would imagine this will improve. Other than that she has been completely perfect. She’s a great running partner, playmate for the boys, and just a pleasant new companion for all of us. I just think that we are one of those families that feels more complete with a dog around us….and particularly with a Golden. I can’t imagine having any other breed.

Thanks again for helping us with her and getting her to us. I am spreading the word about your organization, so don’t be surprised if y’all have future families in Alabama wanting to adopt a dog.

Chris

My name is Elise and I am a pretty red girl. I was recently spayed and ready to go to my forever home.
