Update on October 31, 2009: Hi, Judy!!!
Hope all is well with you. Just a quick note to tell you Georgie is doing GREAT!!!! She loves her new home, and has adapted quite nicely. Of course, the housekeeper has fallen in love, and Georgie is her 'helper' on Thursday.
On Monday and Tuesday, Georgie goes to Camp Bow Wow for a fun filled day of activities and constant petting from the staff. There is a camper cam that allows us to watch the 'campers' either outside in the play area, in the agility area or inside in the climate controlled area......Georgie has lots of friends!!!!! What a sweetie.
Lisa takes her for long walks in the park, as does Bennet and Linda (the housekeeper)....... great exercise for all of them. Lisa's daughter LOVES Georgie, as does Aunt Amy. (How could they not??)
Unfortunately, they are not able to attend Jefferson Pet Fest this Sunday. I hope you will be there...I'll look for you. The vets have a table, so Greg will be working a few shifts there.. We missed you at Delgado a couple of weeks ago. That was a lovely event with a nice turnout.

Georgie Girl went to her forever home today, Aug 28,2009 with Lisa and Bennett. She will be living in New Orleans, near Audubon Park where she'll be going for long walks and will go to doggie day care 3 days a week while her mom works.

Georgie is a small Golden Mix,only 18 inches high at the shoulder.She was an owner turn-in to GS after the owner realized they didn't have enough time for her.
Georgie is a Golden at heart with a wagging tail and a smile on her face.She is happy to be by your side or asleep at your feet or entertaining herself with a toy.
She has been a wonderful playmate to my 8 month old foster, playing chase and also a quiet companion inside sleeping at my feet when I'm on the computer. She also likes to lick your feet while she's there.
Georgie is housebroken and crate trained. She still needs some correction about chewing on inappropriate items.She does stop when corrected.
