Gracie is a 10-year-old lady who has a lot of life left to enjoy. Her expressive eyes seem to draw us into her thoughts. She loves to play ball, and actually returns it directly to us! When in our unfenced front yard, she does not stray far and returns instantly if called. She does not exhibit any destructive or bad behavior. Gracie walks easily on a loose leash without pulling. She is also consistent on “sit” and “down”.

Gracie does not play with our other foster dogs, but co-exists peacefully except when ownership of a bone or toy is in question. Then she will stand up for her rights! However, a person can take anything from her without a problem.

Gracie is good around children. We have not tried her with cats. She does not bark at all. Twice she was accidently left behind a closed door. We didn’t know where she was because she did not bark or paw at the door to be let out, even when it was for over an hour!

She is currently being treated for an ear infection which the vet says is probably giving her pain. Yet she has been even tempered with us humans. Gracie is not a high maintenance dog. Give her love and a daily walk, and she will be a wonderful companion who makes very few demands and gives unconditional devotion.
