Gustav

Gustav went to his forever home on Saturday May 2, 2009 and is living in Southern NH.

Hi Jeanne,
All is well with him. He has been to the vets and been given additional  medicine for his ears. He will return next Wednesday to see  improvements. He also went to the groomers and looks wonderful. He is
certainly a wonderful dog. He is responsive to my commands and seems to  love our walks and rides in the car. He also likes to be with me (all  of the time). He's been a wonder in the house while I'm not home. I'm  quite impressed.  I'm working with his behavior about food and treats. At least I still  have all of my fingers (ha ha).  Naturally, he's still uncertain of our routine but seems to be  understanding and accepting of the day's activities. I really make sure  that their routines stay the same.  Thanks for the information about website. It was nice to see us  together for the first time.  In essence, I already love him. I look at him and smile and have to hug  him. He's a big marshmallow.
Keep in touch.

My name is Gustav.  I am about 8 years old.  I was found running loose after Hurricane Gustav and no one ever claimed me. I am a real active guy but have really settled down at my new foster home.  I love running with all the other dogs here at my foster home.  I really like to play.  I am up to date on all my shots and am heartworm negative.   I am looking for my forever home.  If an older gentlemen with still a lot of spunk is what you are looking for I am your guy.

Gustav is being fostered in maryland.
