Harley was adopted after his trial placement.

Update in Feb 2012--

Harley, our GSGRR boy found a Forever Home with us in January 2011. He filled the void left by Dusty in 2010 and became our new best friend, shared with everyone he meets. He's the poster boy at our veterinarian's and the store mascot at PetsMart. He's turned seven since he came to live with us and still becomes the world's biggest lap dog when it thunders. Wouldn't have it any other way. He's my fourth Golden and the greatest.

Harley is a big lovable male Golden retriever. He gets along well with other dogs and thinks every person that he meets is his new best friend. Harley is house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash and rides nicely in a vehicle. He is not suitable for someone who wants a dog to play ball with. Harley is a lover, not a ball player. This great companion animal enjoys hanging out with his people and other dogs. He follows us around the house until the activity level drops off. Then Harley quietly lies down, until he sees a leash in our hand, whereupon he runs to the door for his walk. Harley understands several voice commands and responds correctly. Harley needs a family where some one is home most of the time. When no one is at home, He must be crated as he is afraid of thunder storms. However, Harley is fine, if a person is with him or he is in his crate which he considers his safe place. Harley is an exceptionally affectionate dog, who will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
