Holly is a 1 year old female golden who is about 55 lbs and taller than the normal golden female. She is being fostered near Boston MA.

 

Holly is a typical younger golden who craves attention and wants to be part of the family.  She has been raised with a three generation family with one young child, adults, two cats and another dog and has done really well.  Holly has done nothing wrong.  Her dad has had two recent back surgeries and can't keep up with her energy level.

 

Holly is UTD on vaccinations and will have an updated heartworm test to ensure she is still negative, she previously tested negative.  She has a little irritation on her left eye from the salt water as she loves the ocean and has access to it in south boston.    She sleeps on the floor in her parents bedroom and loves being near her people.  She is also crate trained and she is great in the car and loves to take walks.  She is a darker coffee color and is on the tall side, lanky and lean.  Because of her dad's back issues, she has not had the obedience training she needs but is a willing listener and smart as a whip.  She will jump on people when excited but will training this will get better.

 

She has a great temperment and will make someone or some people very happy.  She needs to be placed in a home where they appreciate the golden breed and understand her need for exercise on a daily basis.  She might do well with another dog who has a similar energy level.
