Hopper

Hopper went to his forever home in MASS on Saturday August 19th, 2006.

Hopper family loves him and is so excited that he has come to live with them in Hopkinton Mass.

Update on August 28th:

Hi Kathy

How are you? Just a quick update on the first Hopper week...We are thrilled beyond belief to have him in our lives. He is loving, funny, so well trained, sweet and the most wonderful boy ever..All of us are madly in love with him! Yesterday, we went on a long ride to visit my son in college. It was probably a 6 hour car journey in total and he was WONDERFUL!!! he just rested his head on Gabe's knee and cuddled with him there and back. He met my other son Max and they loved each other too.

Kathy, you have provided us with such a gift and I don't know how I can ever thank you..I will send more pix in a couple of days.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Pat

Update on August 20th:

good morning Kathy

Our first night with Hopper went really well. My husband had to carry him up the stairs but that’s ok..he will get used to it. He slept next to us all night, no accidents and this morning we took him out for a long walk. He has eaten and drunk lots of water, peed and pooped outside and is generally totally delicious...thank you SO MUCH for him.

I have attached a couple of pictures taken last night and this morning. One of him arriving in his crate with Gabe and Barry carrying him down from the cargo area..and the rest with his ball, Gabe etc..

Hope you are all doing ok

best

Pat

Hopper is a 6 year old red boy who lived his entire life in a crate! Can you imagine that?? Although his life had a difficult beginning he has the Golden personality; calm, gentle, loving, affectionate and Velcro qualities.

He is also very, very smart; he knows your routines better than you know them yourself (going to bed, going outside) and uses his paws like hands when playing with his toys. He loves to walk around the house with his favorite baby (red & white stuffed ball) in his mouth. (A supply will be included in adoption fee).

His coat is very soft and his pantaloons will be wavy as well. The most amazing thing about Hopper is that he has a cowlick on the back of his head ! He’s just now learning to walk on a leash and doing extremely well. He’s learned that if he pulls to hard that he needs to stop to release the tension. He gets along with all dogs and is cat tolerant. He is also heartworm negative.
