Hoss went to his forever home in New Orleans on January 23, 2010.

Update from his momma on April 2, 2010:

Hey - finally have a photo of Gus. He is holding his favorite toy. He is extremely gentle with his Dalmatian. He greets me everyday with his baby. He also will carry him outside, and keep him in his mouth while going to the bathroom. He is quite the character. I call him Mr. Lovey-Dovey.

Hoss came to rescue after a change in the family made it necessary for him to be rehomed.Hoss is a big, loveable guy that likes to have his ears rubbed and he loves to play.He has done well with the other 5 dogs in his foster home. Hoss is housebroken,crate trained and ready for a home of his own where  he will get all the love and attention a Golden craves.

Update from his foster dad:

I've been fostering Hoss for a few days now and have been able to spend a lot of time with
him. Hoss moved in like it's his forever home. He gets along well with Leif(Old Gold Alumni), knows
how to use the dog door. He's very affectionate and will sit on your lap as much as you let him.
He's calm in the house and also rides well in the car. He's really gentle and would probably do
well with small children.
