Leo- adopted to Talbot 8/14/2011 and will be living in MS update on 8/18/2011
Lovin’ Leo – he’s hanging out with me at the office today and we’ll go for our nightly walk in a bit. Thought you’d appreciate the attached – he actually slept like this for about 2 hours last night before the cat woke him up sniffing noses (we weren’t fast enough with the cameras to catch that). I am awestruck about how well behaved he is – aside from one early morning shredding incident and one accident at the office (my fault – I’m still learning his signals) – we have not had any problems at all. In fact, he has run of the house at night and even though it’s a target rich environment, he opts to sleep and stay out of trouble. Thanks again!!!
Name: Leo Gender: Male Age: about 9 months in July Size: 52# - needs to gain weight Spay/Neutered: yes Vaccinations: June 2011 Heartworm status: negative Intake: 7/7/11 Leo is a very nice, male Golden who loves people and other animals. He was found as a stray in Mississippi and never claimed so now he is with Gulf South looking for his forever home. He knows basic obedience commands such as sit, down and come and will fetch balls or toys for you. In his foster home, he has played with bigger and smaller dogs and does well in the house. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Since he is still a puppy, his training will need to be continued so he can develop into a well-behaved adult. He also is good with cats and children.
