Lila

Lila went to her forever home in Hammond LA on August 24th, 2007. She is living at an assisted living facility.

Here is Lila, a 7 or 8 yr old female golden who came from Hammond, LA Shelter. She is a very sweet dog and loves to be around me. She also plays with the other dogs. She went to the vet and is up to date on shots but unfortunately, she was not on heartworm preventative and she is heartwork positive. She has been started on the slow treatment and should be fine. She is a little overweight and her foster dad is feeding her weight management diet and taking her for walks; hopefully she will shed some of that escess weight soon.

But overall, she is a great old gal. She knows how to SIT and just wants someone to pet her. She will be a great addition to a lovng family. She has a lot of hair on her. I will try to groom her a little and send you some more pictures soon.
