Lyla

Update on august 20, 2010-- We are so happy to have Lyla.  She enjoyed her ride here.  We stopped just west of Tallahassee Friday night.  She has already met pets and people in the elevator.  She is really a sweetheart. We will be taking her to our Vet this week.

Thank you for getting her to Gulfport and thank Julie again for us for keeping her overnight.

Judie & Wayne

Update on august 14, 2010--Lyla's new family drove 2 days from FL to pick her up at my house today.  Her foster, Charlene, and Judy were kind enough to bring her to Gulfport yesterday where her new family picked her up.  She did very well in my house and I'm sure she will be happy in her new home.  She immediately bonded with them wagging her tail.  She came back to me as if to thank me for my small part and happily moved on to her new life.

Lyla was found in a local neighborhood, stray with a male Golden(Jeff) and ended up at the shelter. When she wasn't claimed animal services asked us to take her to find her a forever home.
Lyla is a smaller light gold female. She loves people and is content to lay nearby to be with us. Lyla does get nervous during thunderstorms and looks for a place to hide.
Lyla is good with other dogs and likes to play. Lyla also gets along with the cat in her foster home. She is housebroken and has good house manners.
If you think Lyla is a good match for you please complete our online application and mention her name. http://gulfsouthgoldens.com/adoptions/
