Missy now Honey updated April 19, 2010

Hi Julie and Darlene!

Just wanted to give you an update on little Ms.Honey and FINALLY send some pics.  She is doing super and is such a joy to have around the house!  I know we don't know much about her background, but she must have been around a man with a truck because she LOVES to hop right in the back and sit up on the toolbox like she's ready to ride!  Also, she is an awesome squirrel dog and keeps them out of my flowers and bird feeders.

We took her to the vet on Monday and had a growth removed from the inside of her mouth that had grown over her canine tooth.  They sent it off and it came back benign, so that's good news. Plus, she has a pretty smile now!

Other than that, she's in great health and seems to love us as much as we love her!

Take care and thanks again for all you do.

Nicki and Travis

Missy went to her forever home in Brandon, MS in February 2010.

Missy was turned into rescue by folks that were unable to locate her owners after they found her roaming in their neighborhood
Missy is housebroken and knows basic commands but she will need training to walk on a leash. Missy gets along well with other dogs. For a younger dog her foster thinks she is fairly laid back. We'll add more info after we get to know her a little better.
